Achieve the Dream Forums
The campus Achieve the Dream team, which is studying ways to increase retention and student success, is asking staff and students to attend one of three forums where they will explain the four priorities they've selected for their implementation plan as well as challenges the campus is facing. One of their priorities is to increase campus communication and break down silos. The team notes, “every department may be affected and can have a positive impact on student success; student success increases will positively impact financial aid default rates, achievement compacts, enrollment and our community as a whole.”
The forums will be held at Whipple Center Stage on three separate days and times: Tuesday, May 21, 3 to 4 p.m.; Friday, May 24 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Thursday, May 30 8:30-9:30 a.m. The ATD team includes the following members: Ali Mageehon, Caroline Hopkins, April Hamlin, Emery Smith, Terrence Bradford, Nancy Nowak, Dan Yoder, Kevin Mathweg, Chris Grant, Mandie Pritchard, Freddy Gompf and Susan Taylor.
