Many people in the 2013 Color Me Rad were showered with color from start to finish.

In the Color Me Rad 5k walk/run participants will be able to navigate their way along the course while trying to see how color blasted they can get.

This run consists of a 3.1 mile long course that is full of color. As participants walk or run through the course volunteers will throw brightly colored cornstarch that is non-toxic and non-rash inducing on the passing runners. Color bombs, color filled packets, are available for purchase at the beginning of the race so that individuals can color bomb friends. There are also water stations along the course. Participants can hang out after the race where professional photographers will be present. The photographs will be posted online after each race.

Color Me Rad will be April 12 and registration is open until March 21. The cost of the run is $45 and is an all ages event. Parental consent is required for children under 18.

A portion of the proceeds of this race go to Relief Nursery, a nonprofit child abuse and neglect prevention agency proven to strengthen high risk families and keep young children safe. Relief Nursery stops the cycle of child abuse and neglect with its blend of early childhood services and comprehensive family support services.
