Lady Riverhawks beat Linn Benton and LCC
Men lose both, but a nail-biter at Linn Benton

After losing a heartbreaker at LCC earlier this year, the Lady Riverhawks have had something to prove against the top ranked Titans. The Riverhawks got even and showed their grit in an 85-69 win against LCC. Nnamaka Anyanwu, Chelsey Christensen and former Roseburg standout Kate Wilton were the high scorers in a game that puts UCC within a game of first place in the South division of the NWAACC.

Kate Wilton scored 18 points. Nnamaka Anyanwu had a game-high 27 points to go with 10 rebounds for the double-double. Chelsey Christensen contributed 15 points and 7 rebounds to accompany two blocked shots.

Three days after the LCC vindication, the ladies beat Linn Benton 78-56. This increased the Riverhawks win streak to five games as they push their way to the NWAACC tournament.

Wilton scored 15 points and dished out 2 assists. Anyanwu scored 17 points to go with 9 rebounds. Six of the nine rebounds were offensive rebounds. Christensen scored 15 points in the game including three from the three point range. Mykiea Russell contributed 13 points in the win.
