Small group helps family in need

A group from Small Group Discussion class raised $190 in donations for a class project to help benefit a family in need.

Donations were collected for Sutherlin High School, where resources were then distributed to local families.

The group found out about the opportunity through their own member, Mathew Lambright, whose family was helped the same way when he was in middle school.

Lambright and group members Josiah Brown and Devon Gosline received donations from Fred Meyer, Sutherlin school teacher Jacinda Sullivan, John and Mary Brown and Winchester Deli.

Anyone who would like to be involved in the continuation of this project should contact Beverly Wolfsen at Sutherlin High School or Mathew Lambright at (260) 460-7131.
